Hey guys!
I'm back!
For those of you who didn't hear, I got drunk and cut myself on Wednesday. Some neighbors called the cops, and they came (and handcuffed me! cool, huh?), and drove me to the same Alta Bates ER as last time (when I OD'd).
I stayed there till a little after 12:30 am (the guy nurses were hecka funny, and nice...and cute! hehehe), and then they transferred me to the Adolescent Psych Ward, at the Herrick building (the cancer and psycho place).
I was searched and put in regulation PJ's, and they gave me those silly sock things, instead of shoes to wear. They put me in a 4 bed room, with 2 other girls, Windi and Mercy. Around 5 am, they woke me up and took my blood (I still have the needle wounds or whatever you call em). They took my blood at the ER, too, so it looks like a vampire bit my arm. lol.
Wake up time is at 9 am. And They got those lame hospital food trays. ick. I wasn't hungry, though. I was sooooo hungover. Hehe.
I had my hair down, and it was hanging around my face, and I had those white PJ's on, and I had a bandage on my left arm, and I moved all slow and jerkily, and I always sat with feet under me, and I always rocked in my chair. I totally fit in. Hahaha
It was really boring, most of the time. Lots of "room time." And my fave person, Mercy, was discharged on Thursday morning. She was sent right back, though. But she was re-discharged that evening. Lol, she was cool.
My other room mate, Windi, wasn't really crazy. Just "attention-seeking." She's been there for 3 weeks, now.
She actually reminded me of Lisa. Alot.
I'd be Susanna, if I had to compare myself.
There were about 7 patients there. Windi, Jimica, Erickah, Raymond, Troy, Deandre, and me.
Windi's just wierd, and perverted, and likes to "act-out."
Jimica is a sweetie. She's a tiny 12 year old, and wants to go home for Christmas, poor thing. The whole time, she was talking about the fun things she was missing. Like today, her family makes gingerbread houses. She loves to cook, but she didn't get to make cookies this year.
Erickah is really nice, a bit energetic, though. heh. she was best friends with Windi. Has to go into Seclusion/restraints more than anyone. Besides Troy. She cuts. I think she's been at Herrick for longer than Windi, even.
Raymond was my pal. He was the first to see me come in, and he's really nice, and funny. He's the least crazy of us, I think. He's getting sent to Juvinile Hall tomorrow, but he's not a bad guy. He just ran away from his group home. He's really great.
Troy got there cause he beat someone up, really really bad. He's a total jerk, and really rude to all of us. He also has a crush on me....right...
Deandre wasn't around much, cause he's new, and very withdrawn and quiet. He seemed nice, though. He's a cutter, too.
We had a bunch of groups everyday. Check-in, focal group, chemical dependancy group, activity group, art therapy, anger management, community meetings, and wrap-up.
Art was the best. On Thursday, we painted some of those plastic pictures you put in windows, like stained glass. Then today, we made keychain bead animals. I forgot to bring them home, which sucks. But it was fun.
Did you know that you actually have to have a staff person WATCH you shave?! Just like in Girl, Interrupted. I was like, hell no. I think I'll stay hairy. lol.
They showed us this video, for chemical dependancy group, on Thursday. It was about a cat, yes a CAT, who was an alcoholic, and a druggie. He drove a little red plastic car around. It was HILARIOUS! I know that it was supposed to be all "moral" and stuff, but OMG! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! *wipes away tears of histeria*
Anger management was just lame. hehe. But I learned alot. I just forget what. lol.
So...yeah. Go crazy people!

"Tears of hope run down my skin. Tears for you that will not dry. They magnify the one within, and let the outside slowly die"
It's easier to run... replacing this pain with something numb...It's so much easier to go...than face all this pain here all alone...
Everybody's trying to fit in...I'm just trying to fade out
